The fact that he is a dirty fighter, is known by all of us. Without question the devil piles on. One thing doesn’t get through happening until he hits us with something else, he just doesn’t stop. Lost children, finances that are out of control, sickness of all kinds, and more. He attacks our homes, our marriages, our children and our churches. The evil one is relentless.

But now let me remind you of something else. God told Peter “Upon this Rock, I will build my church.” There is only one real rock and that is Christ Jesus. On this Rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it!! Did you get that? Whatever satan and hell can produce will never prevail against God’s church. Whatever he throws at you will never stop you. We are an immovable, unstoppable force led by the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We’re the church triumphant. We are the army of God.

So don’t back up, turn around or be afraid. Keep moving ahead against he who wars against our souls. We are destined to win. God will not fail us. He is ever watching and working for our good. This is our day and He is our God.

So when things are not going your way. When things seem to be falling apart. When things seem to be overcoming you do not forget this passage.

Romans 8:31

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
