Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Many keep saying: maybe tomorrow, or soon, they will come to the house of the LORD, will consider giving Jesus a chance, but for now they have concerts to attend, they have to party with their friends, they have a movie to go to or to watch, their schedules are so busy and confined, they have to see if they can fit Him in, they want to enjoy their nights at home, they have business to take care of, they have things they need to work out first, or they don’t want to be around fake people in the house of God. They keep saying not now Jesus, not right now. Some perceive they must be perfect and therefore they feel they can never change, so it is easier for them to avoid Jesus. Yet, they want to be perfect for their loved one, perfect in health, to impress, to excel, perfect around their friends: in the way they dress, how they look; perfect in worldly knowledge or in success. Some will do all they can to please every one else, but Jesus.

You repented and got baptized Acts 2:38 and you kick back in your walk with Jesus.

You don’t want to do anything, but wait for the coming of Jesus, you don’t care to be kind, to love all your brothers or sisters, you don’t want to forgive, you want to let everything offend you, you want to read the word of God as little as possible, pray only when you need to pray. You want to be judgmental in every thing, look for every reason to complain. You are doing well and that’s all that matters. You know how to love your inner circle friends, but not your own husband or wife or children. You can afford to go on trips, go to certain events, buy things that please you, but your not a Cheerful giver or you give exactly what you have to give, then you wonder why you are not blessed. You are more concerned about what people are doing in the church, who already have Jesus working on them, than to be concerned and pray for your family members and friends who are lost, the dying, the sick, the poor, the captives, the weak, the prisoners, and the like.

My beloved brothers and sisters and people in this world, please let me share with you: friends are not going to save you, they can’t write your name in the book of life, they cannot close up hell for you. You have to work out your own salvation. Stop making excuses to save your own life, and choose to serve Jesus, your own creator. People will always fail you, and you will fail your own self, but Jesus will not fail you. Choose to be a vessel, used by God, to be a partaker of His purpose, in the reaching and saving of souls. Forsake and do not covet this world that will pass, for a better place and greater promises to come. Don’t let anything get in your way with Jesus or in your walk with Jesus. You have to fight for your own relationship with Jesus Christ, for your place in the kingdom of heaven. Please don’t put Jesus Christ to the side, but rather love Him and place Him first above all and love your brethren and even your enemies. Obey Jesus gospel, and you will have favor in His eyes. Strive to enter into the straight gate and keep your crown. Make your calling and election sure. You don’t want to be in a regretful position where you almost made it to heaven.

2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

1 Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
